OUR HISTORY · ARCHIVE & RELAUNCH

More than a century behind the name.

The documented commercial history associated with Ackerman Group reaches back to 1910. A historical trade profile of Ackerman Group PLC described its origins as a small costume-jewellery company and, a century later, a substantial importer of home, gift, toy, stationery and garden products. The formal UK corporate record begins in 1934. Ackerman.ca carries that heritage story forward today as a North American lifestyle and department-store relaunch.

The Ackerman.ca chapter. The present Ackerman.ca is a North American relaunch built around the Ackerman name and the house values of Heritage · Lifestyle · Decadence. The historical references above describe the archived UK Ackerman Group PLC record; they are presented transparently as heritage context rather than as a claim that the former UK legal entity continues to trade.
